Anya received her Master’s degree from Pepperdine University’s Graduate School of Education & Psychology.

Before joining Leah’s practice, Anya worked in North Hollywood providing counseling services to individuals and couples. She worked with many clients who came from a range of mood disorders, personality disorders, and everyday struggles.

Anya comes from a multiracial background and has experienced firsthand the journey of exploring one's identity and trying to find it within one's family and community. This journey partly inspired her to help others navigate their own life paths. Anya is bilingual and can provide services in English and Spanish.

Anya has a client-centered approach and incorporates alternate forms of therapy in her work in order to accommodate different belief systems. Using alternative modalities such as spirituality-based therapies, art/dance/music therapy, and eco-therapy. She also incorporates more traditional cognitive and psychodynamic approaches to focus on the experience of the individual rather than their presenting diagnosis.
