At The Wellness Collective, clinical supervision is far more than fulfilling licensing requirements, it's a cornerstone of exceptional clinical practice. As a CAMFT Certified Clinical Supervisor and Licensed Clinical Social Worker since 2003, Leah M. Niehaus brings decades of experience and a genuine passion for developing the next generation of mental health professionals.
Clinical supervision should be a place where you feel comfortable expressing doubts, asking questions, exploring your own biases, and identifying the unique strengths that make you a successful therapist. It's a place to get curious about yourself, your clients, and our profession while discovering the profound importance of the therapeutic relationship.

My Approach
My supervisory approach is warm, down-to-earth, and practical. I love to laugh and also love to explore the deeper meaning so often involved in our work as mental health professionals. Whether you're navigating your first challenging case or developing your professional identity, supervision should feel like a safe space for growth and learning.
In our work together, we'll cover all the topics essential for your professional development, including guidance on the DSM, exam preparation, discussion of legal and ethical considerations, developing your professional identity, exploring areas of transference and countertransference, cross-cultural considerations, reviewing various theoretical orientations, and taking your clinical work to the next level.
We have recently outgrown Leah M. Niehaus, LCSW & Associates, Inc.! What started as a small group practice, nine years ago, has really grown over time. We are excited to now be known as The Wellness Collective, with the same exceptional care that the community knows us for.
