The demands on parents are great and time consuming; it is no small feat keeping children alive and thriving in today’s modern world.

The Let Grow movement’s motto is “When Parents Step Back, Kids Step Up.” This rings true to me.

As we enter another school year, it's a good time to think about how we want to show up as parents.

Think for a few moments about the highlights of your summer and what you want to carry with you into fall.

I love the reminder that in life, often our biggest lessons are “caught,” not “taught.”

They are children and should play. We are grown-ups AND we still need to play

Each person is unique…every person has value…each child has wonderful strengths and gifts. We can agree that this is established.

Take a few minutes to consider what you’d like for your family this season?

These young adults were late bloomers.

They noticed that often kids are yelled at for being kids, they aren’t even doing anything wrong or unsafe.

For parents, this can be a bittersweet time…as children grow up, finish another school year, and eventually launch from the nest

It’s the end of the school year…and the kids are done, the teachers are done, and the parents are done ❤️. Let it be summer!
