Katherine works with young people who are feeling the weight of growing up. The pressure to perform, to fit in, to have it figured out before they’re ready. A South Bay native, she brings a genuine sense of familiarity and rootedness to her work with the families and young people of this community. Many of her clients are the thoughtful, caring ones who give a lot but are quietly hard on themselves, or feel like everyone else has it more together than they do. Katherine’s goal is to help them see what she sees: someone capable, worthy, and stronger than they think.
She holds a Master’s in Marriage and Family Therapy from California State University, Northridge, and brings experience from both clinical and school-based settings. She has also facilitated therapy groups for adolescent girls focused on peer relationships, emotional regulation, and self-esteem. Katherine’s style is warm, genuine, and grounded. She creates a space where clients can be honest without fear of judgment and be challenged without feeling pushed. She draws from CBT, Narrative Therapy, and Solution-Focused approaches, weaving in mindfulness and creative strategies to help clients build real, lasting tools for balance and wellbeing.
She is committed to affirming, inclusive care for people across diverse cultural backgrounds, LGBTQIA+ identities, and the neurodivergent community.
Outside the therapy room, Katherine loves long coffee walks, experimenting in the kitchen, thrifting with friends, and time with the people who mean the most to her.
