Michelle views therapy as a space of safety and connection. Her style is warm, interactive, strength-based, and collaborative. She believes in providing a non-judgmental and supportive space where you can explore your emotions and your identity. In working with Michelle, you can expect the therapeutic relationship to be rooted in authenticity, respect, and a sense of humor.

Michelle received her Master’s degree from Cal State University, Northridge. During her time in graduate school, Michelle gained experience providing counseling services for children with emotional and behavioral difficulties and their families at Providence St. John’s Child and Family Development Center. She also spent time providing direct educational and mental health support to college students with high support needs at FACT (Family, Adult, and Child Therapies).

Before beginning her journey as a therapist and social worker, she received both a B.A. in Psychology and a B.A. in Communication from the University of California, Santa Barbara. She then spent a few years working in advertising in Los Angeles before taking the leap to follow her heart in the mental health field.

Outside of the therapy room, you can find her spending time with loved ones, dog sitting, dancing at music festivals, or trying out new baking recipes.
