Summertime Dreams

🌟Weekly Inspiration🌟

It’s officially the start of summer. Summer always goes quickly…what if you took a few minutes to consider what you’d like for your family this season? The people that tend to get what they want in life, are the ones that spend time to think about what it is that they want ❤️. For your consideration: a Summer Bucket List, softening the family “rules” (staying up late/sleeping in), tech challenges (tech free Sundays), time in nature, exploring the area where you live as if you are a tourist, a “Yes Day” (where mom is only allowed to say yes to every request), museums, summer reading programs with the library, making favorite summer recipes, dining alfresco, neighborhood BBQs, travel—near and far etc…

Ask Yourself:

Does my family love summer? Why? Can we lean into the parts that we enjoy the most?
How can I be more intentional with the next couple months?
Could we create a Summer Bucket list and hang it on the fridge?
If I have young kids, how can I soften the rules and be more playful?
If I have older kids, how can I create a home environment that encourages my kids to want to have their friends over?
How can I lighten up?
What are my favorite memories of summer as a kid?
What does wild abandon look like for me?

Enjoy! ☀️
